Maya Tsekenis co-presented on Environmental and Social Justice Issues at this conference on global warming sponsored by Fordham University in honor of Earth Week. The conference was put together in order to engage in a robust conversation about global warming, sustainability, biodiversity and other environmental issues. Ms. Tsekenis spoke about the Impact of Climate Change on Mental Health and Psychosocial Well-being.

The presenting panel was organized by Dr. Elaine Congress, Associate Dean, Fordham University, Graduate School of Social Service. Co-presenters on the panel included Dr. Rosa Perla Resnick of the International Immigrants Foundation; Dr. Charles Guzetta of the Hunter College School of Social Work; Dr. Patricia Brownell, NASW-NYC President Elect and Maya Tsekenis, MSW graduate student from Fordham University.
